في 16 يناير، أصدر البنك المركزي العراقي لوائح جديدة تهدف إلى منع استخدام المعاملات العقارية في عمليات غسيل الأموال. وفي رسالة موجهة إلى دائرة تسجيل العقارات، قال البنك المركزي العراقي إن المعاملات العقارية التي تقدر قيمتها بـ 100 مليون دينار عراقي أو أكثر يجب أن تتم من خلال البنوك المرخصة لمنع غسيل الأموال. يخفض اللوائح الجديدة السقف من العتبة السابقة البالغة 500 مليون دينار عراقي.

• Willing to spend at least 2 months in Baghdad, Iraq.
• Excellent written and oral and communication skills in English.
• Advanced computer proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Highly organized self-starter with proven success prioritizing multiple tasks, making critical decisions, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to carry out responsibilities independently with minimal technical support.

Training requirements:

The applicant should have an experience in delivering one or more of the following training topics:

• Credit analysis: Financial statement analysis, industry analysis, and borrower assessment
• Credit proposal development
• Credit review and scoring
• Risk management
• Financial analysis
• Preparing cash flows for SME projects
• Bad debt classification and management
• International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9) for banks and other financial institutions
• Electronic archiving
• HR performance management framework, recruitment and training processes
• Marketing strategy development: outreach tools
