This Construction Contract Template is a formal agreement between an Organization as the Contractee and a selected Contractor to execute specified construction, reconstruction, or repair works for a defined facility/object in a municipality, in line with the contractor’s accepted offer, technical standards, and applicable construction laws. It sets the contract value as a flat estimated amount subject to final measurement of actual quantities recorded in the measurement book, regulates extra works strictly through prior written approval and an annex, and details payment terms including an advance, interim invoices, and a 10% retention or bank guarantee to ensure quality completion. The contract also defines completion deadlines, extensive contractor obligations on quality, materials certification, site records, supervision access, and subcontracting limits, while giving the Contractee strong rights to supervise, require corrections, conduct quality checks, engage another contractor in case of delay, and apply delay penalties (0.05% per day up to 5%).
