ورشة تدريب الصحفيين العراقيين على مكافحة الأخبار الزائفة والشائعات

Training Workshop for Iraqi Journalists on Countering Fake News and Rumors

أربيل – 14 شباط 2021: اختتمت في أربيل ورشة تدريبية للصحفيين حول مكافحة الأخبار الزائفة، وذلك ضمن مشروع تحقق الذي أطلقه برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي.
أُقيمت الورشة في فندق فان رويال على مدى خمسة أيام، وتضمنت جلسات تدريبية نظرية وتطبيقية أشرف عليها المستشاران الدكتور قاسم النعواشي ومحمد حيمور.

ركزت الورشة على سبل الكشف عن الأخبار الزائفة والشائعات ومكافحتها في الصحافة المطبوعة والمواقع الإلكترونية ووسائل الإعلام المرئية والمسموعة، إضافة إلى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. كما تناولت أفضل الممارسات في مجالات التحقق من المعلومات وتقصي الحقائق، وسبل رفع الوعي العام حول الأخبار الزائفة، والشائعات، وكيفية كشفها ودحضها. وشهدت الورشة كذلك مشاركة عدد من الخبراء والإعلاميين المتخصصين كضيوف ومتحدثين.

هدفت الورشة إلى تعزيز قدرات الصحفيين في كشف الأخبار الزائفة والتحقق من صحتها، والمساهمة في تمكين جيل جديد من الصحفيين بالمهارات اللازمة لحماية المجتمع من انتشار الشائعات والمعلومات المضللة. كما تضمنت الورشة تطبيقات عملية ودراسات حالة ومشاريع بحثية تدريبية، إضافة إلى تدريب المشاركين على كيفية استخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتوظيفها في الكشف عن الأخبار الزائفة.

Erbil – February 14, 2021: A five-day training workshop for journalists on combating fake news concluded in Erbil as part of the “Investigate” project launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The workshop, held at the Van Royal Hotel, featured both theoretical and practical sessions led by consultants Dr. Qasem Alnewashi and Mohammed Haimoor.

The training focused on identifying and countering fake news and rumors across print, broadcast, online, and social media platforms. It also explored best practices in fact-checking, information verification, and public awareness strategies to recognize and challenge misinformation. The workshop hosted several guest speakers, including leading media experts and professionals.

The initiative aimed to strengthen journalists’ capacity to detect and verify fake news, and to equip a new generation of media professionals with the skills needed to protect society from the spread of rumors and misinformation. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises, case studies, and research projects, and were introduced to the use of artificial intelligence tools in detecting and analyzing fake news.
