* You will get two different templates.
This template provides a structured Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) format that partners can adapt to formalize collaboration, clarify roles, and document commitments. In its first part, it is set up as a partnership MOU (example: between an organization and the Ministry of Labor) for a project focused on strengthening institutional capacity and improving systems (e.g., combating exploitative child labour through education). It guides users to define the scope, objectives, and activities, specify the duration and effective date, list references that govern implementation, and describe mutual responsibilities, resource needs, payment/performance terms, monitoring arrangements, and a termination clause, all to reduce ambiguity and improve accountability during delivery.
The template also includes a second, more “legal/technical” MOU structure tailored to technical co-sponsorship arrangements (conference/event context). This section covers key governance and risk items such as financial liability allocation, ownership of the conference name/marks, intellectual property (proceedings), publication processes (e.g., inclusion in a conference publications program), branding requirements, indemnity, confidentiality, and standard general terms (binding effect, assignment, notices, counterparts), concluding with a signature block for authorized representatives.
