- Background and Justification
As one of the United Nations Member States, adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in September 2015. In order to put the Agenda into operation a number of activities and processes have been undertaken which include, but not limited to:
- The high-level launch of the Agenda 2030 by the Right Hon. Prime Minister in 2016;
- Sensitization of stakeholders at central and local (district) level including the Parliament and Senate;
